Mission Statement:

The Governor’s Grants Program values Kansans living in healthy communities, where they can grow, learn, feel safe and thrive economically. The Program strives to remove obstacles in Kansas communities, neighborhoods, schools, businesses and homes to ensure the safety and security of all Kansans. By administering federal and state grants to units of state and local government, Native American Tribes, nonprofit, community and faith-based organizations throughout the state, the Program aims to enhance the criminal justice system, improve public safety, support crime victim services and drug and violence prevention programs throughout Kansas.
