Kansas Governor Sam Brownback is holding a series of “Governor’s Economic Summits” as part of the administration’s commitment to growing the state’s economy and getting the more than 100,000 unemployed Kansans back to work.

These summits will bring together stakeholders involved in the various engines of the Kansas economy to openly exchange ideas on what the state can do to help their industries grow and create jobs.

To be successful, these summits require a team effort in both the public and private sectors.  Governor Brownback’s end goal of each meeting will be an action plan on what we can do to stimulate the Kansas economy and put Kansans back to work.

These meetings will be open to the public and will be located in places appropriate to the topic.
